Missed talking to you, actually we are quite active on Facebook and Instagram so please make sure that you follow us, to keep in touch ! Soooo I wanted to do this post for about 2 months, shame on me, but somehow everytime I wanted to do it, somethin else crossed my mind. 

But here it is, my Paris shopping haul and my latest mini haul ...

In Austria it's quite hard to buy ordinary islamic stuff, like abayas, kaftans, prayer rugs, halal parfums, toothpaste with miswak extract, Quran CD and so on ...

I've been to Paris twice before, so this was my third time. I spent a beautiful week with my mom - kind of girls holiday  The city of love ! But this time we enjoyed a whole different Paris than I used to know, a expedition through areas far away from the usual tourist hotspots. The district around Anvers, Barbès Rochechouart, La Chapelle and Chatêau Rouge (M2, M4)

Wie geht's euch?

Ich hab euch so vermisst, ich bitte euch sehr uns auch auf Facebook und / oder Instagram zu folgen, da wir über die sozialen Netzwerke täglich aktiv sind und es so noch einfacher ist zu euch Kontakt und euch auf dem Laufenden zu halten! 

Also, diesen Post wollte ich schon vor gut 2 Monaten machen, allerdings ist mir jedes mal etwas 

dazwischen gekommen, tut mir wirklich leid :| ... naja endlich - hier ist er, ihr erinnert euch doch noch an meinen Paris Trip, ich möchte euch nun meine Shopping Erungenschaften zeigen und euch verraten wo ihr sie bekommen könnt, quasi Shoppingtipps für euren nächsten Paris Aufenthalt !

Wie meine Österreichischen Leser wissen, ist es hier in Österreich wirklich schwer Utensilien zu bekommen die man als Moslem bzw. islamische Frau so benötigt! Zum einen liegt das vermutlich daran, dass die muslimische Gemeinschaft hier nicht so groß ist wie in Deutschland / UK / Frankreich und zum anderen das wir Muslime hier zu lande von vielen ja leider nicht akzeptiert werden!

Abayas / Kaftane / Zahnpasten mit Miswak Extrakt / Halal Parfum / Quran auf CD / Gebetsteppiche? Fehlanzeige !

Dieses war mein dritter Aufenthalt in Paris, eine ganze Woche Mädchenurlaub mit meiner bezaubernden Mama, das hat wirklich wieder mal so gut getan! Dieses Mal allerdings, erkundeten wir ganz andere Teile der Stadt fernab der typischen Touristengegenden. Die Gegenden um Anvers, Barbès Rochechouart, La Chapelle, Chateau Rouge (zu erreichen mit M2 und M4).

People greet each other with 'Salam alajkum' which was quite strange to my mom !

(For those who don't know my family is Austrian and I converted at the age of 19) But she got used to it pretty soon as everyone was greeting me when we entered a shop, or  when sister passed by in the streets and when people noticed she was my mom they were curious to know our story, some asked us a lot of questions - a hijabi with a non muslim mother, WHAT? haha :) 

You can hear Quran in the shops, it was just an incredible feeling for me as I am not used to this ... in Austria, the muslim community is not that big and also not that accepted by most people :|

Das sind die Gegenden an die man sich halten muss wenn man zum Beispiel auf einen afrikanisch-arabischen Markt gehen will (der war wirklich riesengroß), arabische Läden sucht in denen es Henna, Teppiche, arabische Lampen, marokkanische Teekannen gibt, wenn man in arabischen Restaurants essen möchte oder in arabischen Bäckerein leckere Teigwaren probieren möchte und natürlich ist das auch die richtige Gegend wenn man Abayas, Kaftan oder Hijabs sucht !

Die Leute auf der Straße grüßen einen mit 'Sakam alajkum' was für meine Mutter anfangs etwas gewöhnungs bedürftig war! (Für diejenigen die es nicht wissen, wir sind Österreicher - ich habe im Alter von 19 Jahren zum Islam konvertiert) Mama hat sich dann aber daran schnell gewöhnt da wir in jedem Geschäft und von vorbeigehenden Schwester so gegrüßt wurden. 

Ebenso schnell gewöhnten wir uns dann die vielen Fragen und rätselhaften Blicke 'Wie ist es möglich das ein muslimisches Mädchen mit Hijab eine nicht muslimische Mutter hat?'

jaja ... Fragen über Fragen ... mussten wir einige Male die Geschichte erzählen :)

Es ist ein unglaublich schönes und für mich so ungewöhnliches Gefühl in einen Laden zu kommen und den Quran zu hören. Einfach herrlich ! Mehr dazu später in dem eigentlichen Reisepost, der bald folgt in shaa Allah,  jetzt geht es erstmal nur um die Ausbeute - den 'Haul' :)

a huge megastore at Barbès Rochechouart - do NOT buy it !

It just exactly like the original, the brown colour looks good (I adore brown coloured mascara)

BUT when I removed my eye make-up, my eyelid just really felt like burned ! 

This is a big NO NO NOOOO !

Ja es sieht tatsächlich aus wie Maybelline - ist es aber nicht ! 

Sondern eine billige Kopie, erhältlich um schlappe 3 Euro in diesem 

übergroßen Kaufhaus TATI direkt am Barbès Rochechouart . Ich war anfänglich

begeistert, wooow wie billig und wow noch dazu braun (ich liebe braune Mascara!)

aber nach der erster Verwendung bzw dem ersten Abschminken habe ich es sehr bereut, meine

Augenlider haben so sehr gebrannt und taten wirklich weh also NEIN NEIN NEIN - Finger weg !

 BUT we dared going inside and they really had some nice shoes - it seemed a bit like a treasure hunt

 to find a pair that belongs together but there it is :) for only 5 Euro (I know it's increeeeedible!)

von draußen sah das kleine Schuhgeschäft am Boulevard Barbes einfach nur chaotisch und nicht sehr einladend aus ABER wir haben es trotzdem gewagt mal reinzuschauen und siehe da die hatten wirklich

hübsche Schuhe, es kam mir ein wenig wie bei einer Schatzsuche vor als ich versuchte ein passendes Paar zu finden aber siehe da, hübsche Sommerschuhe für schlappe 5 Euro (ja ich weiß, unglaublich!)

There was a wide range of  halal parfums and I was quite hard to make a decision 

in shaa Allah they are going to last for a while, as it is impossible to get them over here :|

Die hatten eine so große Auswahl an halal Parfums, es war richtig schwer sich zu entscheiden!

in shaa Allah halten die eine Weile, da sie ja hier in Österreich nirgendswo zu bekommen sind! :|

my new primark cardigan - 10 Euro is a good price.

It keeps me really warm, looks great with jeans and also skirts. 

Simply a must have for this Autumn, was also available in colours black and white.

Hält einen sehr warm und sieht sehr gut aus kombiniert mit Jeans oder auch Röcken.

Ein Herbst must-have, auch in schwarz und weiß erhältlich.

You already saw this one in a few OOTD's, I was searching soooo long for the perfect jeans jacket.

Found this one at Forever 21, for about 24 Euro.

Die habt kennt ihr schon aus einigen meiner OOTD'S, ich hab so lange nach der perfekten

Jeans Jacke gesucht und wurde dann bei Forever 21 fündig, Kostenpunkt:  ca. 24 Euro.

Prayer rug - as my favorite colour is emerald, I immediately fell in love when I saw this one.

And the smaller one is actually for kids but it got the perfect size for my handbag it's kind of my 'travel-prayer-rug' :)

Gebetsteppiche - da smaragdgrün mene allerliebste Lieblingsfarbe ist hab ich mich sofort verliebt als ich ihn gesehen habe, der kleinere Teppich ist an und für sich für Kinder aber hey, er hat die perfekte Größe für die Handtasche und ist deswegen jetzt mein Teppich für Reisen bzw. unterwegs. :)

My favorite toothpaste! Would you believe me if I tell you that in Austria you pay about 7 Euro and in France about 2,60 Euro ?! no more words needed O_o

Meine Lieblingszahnpasta! Könnt ihr das glauben - in Österreich zahlt man für eine Packung beinahe 7 Euro und in Frankreich um die 2,60?! Mehr sag ich dazu gar nicht O_o

I always wanted an abaya and a kaftan!

My first abaya ever was a gift of a dear friend ... 

In Austria there are no shops selling beautiful ones :( so the only possibility is

to order - unfortunately mostly these abayas / kaftan are extremely overpriced !

I was soooo happy when I came across 'La Rose d'Orient' an amazing store !

Really stunning, they got wonderful wonderfuuuul garments !

Lucky me, they got SALE when I was there ... and this is my baby !

My beautiful Kaftan, I wore it for Eid !

Eine Abaya oder einen Kaftan zu haben war immer schon ein ganz großer Wunsch.

Eine liebe Freundin schenkte mir dann eine und seither liebe ich diese Teile noch mehr ...

In Österreich gibt es keine Geschäfte die schöne Abayas / Kaftan verkaufen :(

Die einzige Möglichkeit ist es, sie zu bestellen - leider sind sie meistens völlig überteuert!

Ich war so glücklich als ich auf den hübschen Laden 'La Rose d'Orient' gestoßen bin!

Die verkaufen wirklich atemberaubend schöne Roben für einen fairen Preis und glücklicherweise 

hatten sie Sale als ich dort war .. also das ist mein Baby !

Mein wunderschöner Kaftan, den ich auch für Eid getragen habe.

Obviously I didn't make proper pictures for the blog ... just a few with friends and fam'.

So sorry for the bad quality.

Leider habe ich zu Eid keine vernünftigen Bilder in dem Kaftan gemacht ... nur einige mit Freunden

und Familie - die Qualität ist dem entsprechend schlecht, tut mir wirklich leid.

LATEST HAUL

Neueste Shopping Errungenschaften 

Some H&M goodies, sunglasses, bracelets and iPhone 3D stickers - basically not because I think this

makes my iPhone look fancy but I dropped it and it cracked that's what I want to hide and yes it looks pretty nice :) But I have to mention that these stickers won't last long, the glued surface is not that strong.

These tights are amazing ! They get you in shape - I just wear things like this when I wear dresses or skirts with thin material ... it's so important to me that nothing waggels ^^ you know what I mean, don't you?! haha - available at H&M as I am pretty tall (174 cm) I wear size L even though I wear M usually 

Last but not least there is the iPad smart case, for a while I used a cover that covered the back only, but who cares about that? It's the screen that has to be protected :D

So I decided to get rid of that cheap cover and buy myself a high quality smart case (actually dad gave it as a present to me after I told him that I would badly need it - thank you daddy :) !

I really recommend it to you! It covers the whole iPad, and when you close the upper shell the iPad turns off :) Apple also offers a smart cover which covers the screen only ...

Einige Sachen die mir bei H&M untergekommen sind, die wirklich süsse Sonnenbrille, Armbänder, Sticker für mein iPhone in 3D Schlangenoptik - an und für sich nicht deswegen weil ich das so unverzichtbar cool finde sondern eher um die Sprünge auf der Vorderseite zu verstecken (das Handy ist runtergefallen) und ich finde es sieht ganz hübsch aus ... allerdings muss ich anmerken das diese Sticker vermutlich nicht all zu lange halten werden. Die Klebeflächen sind ziemlich schwach :|

Die Zauberstrumphose, einfach super! Ich trage solche shaping Teile nur wenn ich Röcke oder Kleider aus äußerst dünnem Material trage um zu vermeiden das sich nichts bewegt was sich nicht bewegen sollte - wenn ihr versteht was ich meine?! haha  Erhältlich ebenfalls bei H&M, ich bin 174 cm groß und kaufe deswegen immer Größe L obwohl ich ansonsten Größe M trage.

So, dann wäre da noch mein neues iPad smart case, ich habe ja eine Zeit lang ein Cover benutzt das nur die hintere Seite schützt - die ja eigentlich nicht so wichtig ist denn der Display ist ja das was geschützt werden sollte! Also habe ich beschlossen dieses Plastikcover los zu werden und mir ein qualitativ hochwertigeres zu besorgen (eigentlich hat es mir ja mein Papa geschenkt nach dem ich meinte das ich sowas dringend bräuchte xD yuhu, danke dad) 

Ich kann das wirklich nur weiterempfehlen ! Es schützt das iPad gut und wenn man den Deckel schließt schaltet es sich automatisch aus ... viele von euch kennen das ja schon.
